I’m Dennis McCorkle, a nature and landscape photographer with a lifelong love for the outdoors. My journey began in childhood, inspired by my father’s curiosity and passion for nature. That spirit eventually led me to the Great Smoky Mountains, which I now proudly call home.

Much of my work is rooted in the Smokies—their hidden waterfalls, vibrant sunrises, and 900 miles of winding trails—but this is only part of my story. My collection also includes photographs from across the country: travels, vacations, and spontaneous adventures that capture the same sense of wonder and discovery.

Every image reflects my goal of preserving natural beauty in its truest form, often unedited to showcase the colors and light exactly as I experienced them. This collection is not only about the mountains I love but about sharing the total journey of my photography—inviting you to pause, reflect, and find your own “wow” moments in nature.
